Web developer – Freelancer
Responsibilities:
Design user interfaces based on the core team (which you will be a member of) inputs and recommendations which includes: visual look and feel, graphics and icons, styles, navigation and layout
Work with technical team to facilitate and implement creative designs
Ability to conceptualize mockups based on a design brief and converting mockups (PSD or other) into HTML/CSS
Formulate abstract and generic scenarios and translate them into specifications and code
Requirements:
Solid knowledge of web and interactive design
All candidates must have an active portfolio showing recent and best work
Expert in HTML(5)/CSS(3), JQuery/JavaScript and PHP (CodeIgniter)
Knowledgeable with Model-Viewer-Controller frameworks
Understanding of large-scale database and internet-scale platforms or applications is a plus
Strong and effective problem solving skills
Solid knowledge of full Adobe product suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver and Flash) and designing wireframes is a definite plus
Passion for great design, keen eye for details and good knowledge of usability
