Freelance Editor
Responsibilities:
We are actively sourcing for editors in the following fields:
- English (Primary and Secondary)
- Mathematics (Primary and Secondary)
- Science (Primary and Secondary including Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
- History
- Geography
- Principles of Accounts
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Content and copy-editing of manuscripts
- Doing up artwork brief, answer key and copyrights list
- Drawing up a list of queries for authors
- Proofreading of page proofs
- Liaising and coordinating with authors (optional)
Requirements:
- Good degree in the related field, with an excellent command of English
- Candidates must be meticulous, pro-active, and be able to multi-task and work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Editorial experience required – preferably with related teaching experience
