Freelance Web Marketing Specialist (Ad-Hoc)
Description:
The Web Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining the company’s regional websites and supporting local web marketing initiatives. This position will oversee the daily maintenance and support of the local corporate, channel, intranet, and syndication sites; coordinate and represent local interests in company-wide web marketing projects; and provide an analysis of web usage reports to provide ROI analysis and tracking of web marketing initiatives and other local campaigns.

Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the content on the Asia-Pacific corporate, channel, and intranet sites
- Manage online files and assets for Asia-Pacific
- Create and deploy email newsletters, product updates and promotions
- Coordinate regional projects with the Global office (USA)
- Act as the regional conduit for all Global web initiatives and research data
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Web Content Maintenance and UI Design with a solid
understanding of HTML, FTP, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat and MS
Office are required
- Experience with content management systems, portal management and email
campaign management are a must
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English in addition to any
local languages/dialects)
- Some knowledge of email delivery systems, spam filtering technologies, DSNBL
and digital privacy laws are preferred
- Knowledge of Internet Technologies, ASP, XML, DNS and Content Syndication
are a plus
