Developers needed for new startups
Stream Media Pte Ltd is a mobile payment and distribution company that is extending the methods of how mobile goods and services can be distributed to end users directly from the developers. Currently, we are building the REST server for our API, billing, accounting engines and mobile application client (Windows Mobile, Android, Symbian, J2ME).
The expected work venue will be at NUS Engineering Incubator.

We are inviting applications for intern positions (project based/full time employment is also considered dependent on portfolio/resume) for the above mentioned development: REST API server, billing/account engine as well as mobile application client for Windows Mobile, Android, Symbian and J2ME. The interns will have the chance to be involved in the various stages of product development life cycle, and learn how to build web services that can be both scalable and secure. Below are the requirements and responsibility.

REST Server Developer
Responsibilities:
1. Assist and develop the REST server according to the requirements
2. Assistance and develop the documentation of the API for mobile developers
3. Server testing and QA
Requirements:
1. Experience in PHP, cakePHP framework
2. Experience in MySQL
3. Desirable: Familiar with REST architecture and the mechanics of Twitter, Facebook APIs
4. Good communication skills, highly motivated and able to work in a team

Billing/Accounting Engine Developer
Responsibilities:
1. Assist and develop the billing/accounting server according to the requirements
2. Assist in the development of the analytics engine
3. Server testing and QA
Requirements:
1. Experience in Java EE
2. Experience in MySQL
3. Good communication skills, highly motivated and able to work in a team

Mobile Client Developer
Responsibilities:
1. Assist and develop the mobile client according to the requirements
2. Develop test/demo applications using the APIs
Requirements:
1. Experience in Windows Mobile, J2ME, Android, Symbian development (please indicate area of expertise in resume)
2. Experience in developing applications using REST APIs on mobile (Facebook, Twitter API etc)
3. Experience in MySQL
4. Good communication skills, highly motivated and able to work in a team
